I saw
this article in the Olean Times Herald, and I wanted to take a minute and bring to everyone's attention that the food pantries in the area ALL need help right now.
People are still reeling from the high gas prices, which, Praise the Lord, are going down... but not after people spent more than a year paying more for gas than they could afford.
Let's all make a commitment this week to bring some food to the food pantries over the next couple months.
So help me out: feel free to leave comments, so that we can locate all the food pantries in the area.
I know there is one in Port Allegany, but I'm not sure where.
The Coudersport Alliance Church used to run a food pantry. (do they still)
I think (but am not sure) that the Cameron County Christian Center might have a food pantry, but I'm not sure.
So let's do two things... let me know what food pantries are in YOUR town, and then let's all make a special effort to support them by bringing food!
