A Sinnemahoning woman suffered a head injury in an accident at 8:40 this
morning on Route 120, about 5 miles east of Emporium.

Police say a van driven by 80-year-old Alma Mae Lupro went out of control
and hit a utility pole.

Lupro was flown to Altoona Hospital for treatment of the head injury.

Troopers say their investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
