(Press release)
Whether you are interested in genealogy, a history buff or just enjoy a trip away, then you will want to get signed up for this “day trip” to Harrisburg. Cameron County Genealogy Club has organized the trip to be unstructured so people can pick the attraction that fits their own interests. The club will be leaving Emporium on May 6 at 6:00 a.m. on a Fullington Charter bus to travel to the Capital Complex in Harrisburg.

The State Museum of PA, the State Library of PA, PA Archives and Pennsylvania Capital are all free and within walking distance of each other. The $50 per person fee includes the bus ride, a light snack and a beverage, an easy to read map, addresses and phone numbers of various attractions to walk to.

The bus is expected to arrive back in Emporium about 8:30 p.m. the same night.

You must reserve your seat by April 7.
