Woodland Elementary School break-in
Emporium based-stated police reported that Woodland Elementary School, at 601 Woodland Ave., in Emporium, was the target of theft and vandalism on March 25. Six people are involved, three of which were juveniles. The investigation continues.

DUI


An Emporium man was arraigned on DUI charges Sunday. State Troopers report
that 39 year old Todd Swartz of Rich Valley Road was pulled over in Portage
Township, near Cowley Hill Road and determined to be driving under the
influence.

He was arraigned before a Potter County District Judge.

Stolen Wood


State Troopers out of Emporium are searching for a thief that made off with
2 cords of firewood from Mason Hill Road.

Officers say 57 year old Lakewood, NY resident Patrick Walker reported the
wood stolen from his Gibson Township Property.

Police continue to investigate.
