Potter and Cameron Men involved in Elk County Crash

An Austin Man and an Emporium man were both involved in a crash in Elk
County. According to a report from State Troopers in Ridgeway. 45 year old
Austin Man, Michael Majot was traveling south in his 1988 Lincoln when he
ran into a 2003 Ford driven by 72 year old Norman Reed.

Majot was cited in the incident.

Accident on Wycoff Run

State Police report a crash on Wykoff Run June 7. According to Police
reports, 30 year old Ryan Gooch was speeding wen he went off the roadway and
struck an embankment.

Gooch's passenger, 32 year old Benjamin Russel of Coudersport was thrown
from the car. Both Gooch and Russel were injured. Gooch was lifeflighted to
Altoona Hospital. Charges are pending against Gooch.

Ice Cream Goes Awry

State Police report that 20 year old Tina Marie Bargerstock called to report
an incident at her Emporium Apartment on June 2.

According to the police report, someone through a container of ice cream
through her open window, causing damage to her apartment.

Police Stats For May

State Police in Emporium have released a list of their statistics for the
month of May.

According to the report, 46 Criminal Offenses were reported. 45 of those
offenses were founded. 26 were cleared, and 26 arrests were made.

12 Crashes were reported in Cameron County in May. No DUI arrests or related
crashes were listed.

Stolen Alcohol

State Police say someone stole a cooler full of alcohol from the Shippen
Township residence of Brenda Mullens.

The suspects left on foot.

Pool Drained

State Police are investigating an incident of Criminal Mischief that occured
May 30.

Apparently, someone removed a drain plug from an inflatable pool at the
residence of Mike Lopez of Emporium.

The pool was drained.

State Police are looking for a suspect.

Gas Drive Off's

State Police report that several people have driven off from the Uni-Mart
without paying for gasoline.

Fairgrounds Road Crash

State Police say a crash occured at State Route 46 and Fairgrounds Road May
27.

According to the State Police report, 37 year old Russell Barnhart backed
his 1991 Ford Escort onto the roadway into the path of 23 year old Clara
Burgoon.

Burgoon struck the driver's side of Barnhart's vehicle, pushing him into
the a locked gate at the fairgrounds. Barnhart sustained minor injuries and
is facing possible charges.

Motorcycle Crash

State Police report that Thomas Cook of Oakdale, PA was injured in a crash
on Wycoff Run on May 28.

Troopers say he lost control of his Suziki and turned over after striking an
embankment. Charges are pending.
