Endeavor: Home Rule issue pushed off until Nov.

The Endeavor reports:
second public meeting will be scheduled in the coming weeks to share more details on the proposal to dissolve the current county, borough and township governments and make Cameron County one large governmental unit. Commissioners Tony Moscato, Patrick Rodgers and Glen Fiebig are pushing the plan as a long-term solution to the county's mounting economic problems.

Endeavor: Hunt for school head still on

Endeavor News:
Members of the Cameron County Area Board of Education are taking their time in hiring what most people see as the most critical position at any school district- superintendent. Board members have discussed the issue in private session and, most recently, voted publicly to extend the term of Clyde Moate as interim superintendent while the search continues.
