Police are trying to sort out what happened to lumber bought by a Mount
Jewett man.
Officers say Michael Haynes purchased eight pieces of oak baseboard, a piece
of wood paneling, and six pieces of trim at Close's Lumber in Roulette. The
items fell from Hanye's vehicle as he entered Route 6. When he realized they
fell off, he turned around, and found someone loading up and leaving with
his wood.

Police are investigating.
