An accident near Odin was reported July 10. According to State Police, Robert Avilez of Austin and Regina Streich of Emporium were both driving north on Route 872. Streich started slowing down for the vehicle in front of her when Avilez rear ended her car. Streich was taken to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital. Avilez was cited for careless driving.
