Pushed, Jumped, or Fell? Police Try To Find Out

A Roulette woman was still in critical but stable condition at Robert Packer
Hospital Thursday night following an incident early Thursday morning on
Horseshoe Court Drive.
Police say 39-year-old Jennifer Pinchock may have jumped from a moving
vehicle during an argument with a person who was giving her a ride from Port
Allegany to Roulette. She suffered severe head injuries.
Potter County District Attorney Dawn Fink has told police to continue their
investigation before any charges are filed.
Troopers asked that anyone who had contact with Pinchock after 6 p.m. on
Wednesday contact the Coudersport barracks.
Police are not releasing any further details so they don't hinder the
investigation, but say they will release more information in the near
future.

Land To Be Surveyed For Deer

Private woodlands of the Kinzua Quality Deer Cooperative in McKean County,
along with state forest land in McKean, Potter, Elk and Cameron counties are
included in the state's aerial deer survey program.
The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is paying an Idaho
company to survey more than 500 thousand acres of land.
The survey will help the department and the state game commission make deer
management decisions.

Chase in Potter County

A Ulysses man took police on a chase for about a mile late Wednesday night
on Route 6.
Police say 24-year-old James Patrick Hoopes was speeding and they tried to
stop him, but he kept driving.
After he did stop, he was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding,
along with other vehicle code violations.

Shinglehouse Woman Charged

A Shinglehouse woman was charged with simple assault and harassment after an
incident at 3 a.m. Thursday in the borough.
Police say 33-year-old Victoria Smith hit 29-year-old Daniel Calhoun
multiple times in the head and neck. Calhoun suffered cuts and a chipped
tooth.
Smith was arraigned and released on unsecured bail.

Woman Found This Morning In Roulette in Serious Condition
A Roulette woman is in critical condition at Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre after being found along the road, bleeding from an apparent head wound.
Police say 39-year-old Jennifer Pinchock was found on Horseshoe Court Drive this morning.
Troopers are investigating the incident as an aggravated assault and ask anyone with information to contact the Coudersport barracks.

Scam Artists Unsuccessful

Police in Potter County are investigating an attempted flim flam in the town
of Roulette.

54-year-old Ronald White told police he got a call from an unknown person,
who claimed he won a prize, and asked for his bank account information.

White did not give the account, and called State Troopers.

Mailbox Smashed Up

State Troopers say a Westfield man called to complain about an incident this
week.

Someone smashed the mailbox of 74 year old Ralph Eugene Snyder along Schall
Road in Harrison Township.

Sportsmen Presentation

On Sunday Feb. 26th the Unified Sportsmen of Pennsylvania will be sponsoring
Deer Management, Forestry and the Pennsylvania Wilds.

Guest Speaker: Outdoor writer and radio talk show host Jim Slinsky.

Location: The Coudersport Firehouse on Route 6, about ½ mile west of town.
Doors will open at Noon and the program begins at 1:00PM.

A second show will be held Sunday evening at the Morris Fire House, about 15
miles south of Wellsboro at the junction of Routes 287 and 414.
Doors will open at 5:00 and the program will begin at 6:00PM.

Roulette Fire

Roulette Fire Crews responded to a fire call Sunday night on Fishing Creek
Road in Hebron Township.
The call came in at about 5 o'clock Sunday Evening.

No further information is available yet.

Roulette Crash Injures One

Charges are pending in a Friday morning crash that injured a Turtlepoint
woman. State Police say alcohol was a factor in the Potter County incident.
22-year-old Kristin Crowley reportedly lost control on Route 6 in Roulette
Township while negotiating a curve.
She went of the road and hit a guardrail, rolling her car onto its roof.

Minor injuries to Crowley were reported. The Police report did not indicate
if she was taken to the hospital.

Officers report that charges are pending, and that alcohol was related in
the crash.

Olean Woman Injured on Route 44

An Olean woman was injured in a Potter County Crash Thursday.
State Troopers say 23-year-old Amanda Lemon struck an embankment on Route 44
north of Hebron Township. She was taken to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital
with neck and back pain.

Keating Township Crash

A Saturday Crash in Keating Township is under investigation. State Police
report 22-year-old Norman Huupt of North Bend passed two vehicles on a snowy
Route 155. HE lost control and slid more than a thousand feet before
striking an embankment, and then traveling through a culvert.

Police say Huupt was driving too fast.

Ulysses Crash

No one was hurt in a crash on Route 449 Saturday in Ulysses Township. State
Troopers say 21 year old Rachel Bachman's vehicle fishtailed and went off
the road, rolling onto it's roof. Charges were filed in the crash.

Goat Owner Charged
State police are investigating an incident in Potter County.Police say Dan Mock of Galeton has been charged with disorderly conduct,after his goat traveled on to the property of David Burrous.Police say Burrous has complained about the animals in the past. Chargeshave been filed in district court.

Electric Fence Damaged
Crystal Kinchen called police to report damage to her electric fence. 50feet of fence was down around her horse pasture. No permanent damages weresustained, and no horses were injured.

REsidents sick of winter weather gather at the Gold General store to shout their best "Hoo Dee Hoo!" to scare away old man winter.

Online Theft in Roulette
Christina Bowser of Roulette tells state police that someone transferred about 3 thousand dollars from her checking account into an online Paypal account.

Police are not releasing information about the suspect until their investigation is finished.
