WFRM reports:
State police at Coudersport have announced an initiative for the Harrison Township, Route 49 corridor due to an increase in crime activity between 05 and 06, specifically burglary, criminal mischief, arson and narcotic type incidents. In an effort to be more proactive, when manpower is available, troopers will be assigned to that area to aggressively enforce any violations of state law they observe and they’ll be active in gathering information/intelligence regarding pending investigations and drug activity. Troopers are asking that anyone who has information concerning crimes and quality of life issues in Potter County to contact them at 274-8690.. Trooper Scott Henry, the information officer assigned to several area barracks says the initiative is well underway with several arrests taking place last week.
