WFRM reports:
A former Potter County resident was among five suspects rounded up by police in Tioga County Thursday during a drug bust. Roshanti Plaza, 23, is charged with two felony counts of delivery of cocaine, four counts of possession with intent to deliver, one count of criminal conspiracy and one of using a telephone to make a drug deal, plus one misdemeanor count of possession and two of theft. Police said Plaza sold $800 worth of cocaine to a confidential informant on Nov. 30 and Dec. 5, took $400 from the informant on Dec. 13 but did not deliver the drug and also stole a digital scale from the informant. The former Harrison Valley resident is wanted here on a bench warrant for a probation violation in connection to an incident taking place during the early summer of 2004 in Galeton Borough. Plaza had pleaded guilty to interference with the custody of children but failed to report for a probation violation hearing this past June and Judge John Leete subsequently issued a warrant for her arrest.
